Our Story

Fertility & Genetic Services (pvt) Ltd. was established in 1988 and has become one of the best hospitals in Islamabad. On completing her fellowship in the United Kingdom, Dr. Salma Kafeel along with Dr. Kafeel Qureshi returned to Pakistan with a vision to establish a hospital that brought quality services, including Gynecology and Obstetrics services in Islamabad. Dr. Kafeel identified a large gap in the provision of services to infertile couples. This led to a dedicated venture by Dr. Salma and Dr. Kafeel which culminated in the formation of a Assisted Reproductive Technique (ART) clinic, being the first of its kind in Pakistan, hence making Fertility & Genetic Services (Pvt) Ltd (FGS) the pioneers of infertility services in Islamabad at that time.

Services offered at the centre include Fertility services, Obstetrics, Gynecology and Paediatric services, Aesthetic Unit, Genetic Counseling, Urology, General surgery, Gastroenterology and Executive Health Clinic.

Since its inception, FGS Pakistan went through all the phases of a typical business cycle until it finally reached a mid-level of maturity and stability. It is for this reason that the company decided to expand its services abroad, and this lead to the establishment of FGS Healthcare in the United Kingdom.

Mashal Kafeel Qureshi

FGS HealthCare is proud to offer its clients the experience and expertise of its team. Led by Mashal Qureshi, an experienced professional who graduated from medical school in Pakistan, FGS HealthCare is dedicated to helping its clients achieve the highest level of wellness through custom-tailored treatment plans. Mashal Qureshi has been specially trained in CREST IVF services, making her an ideal choice for those seeking fertility services. She also has a MSc in Sexual and Reproductive Medicine from the University of South Wales, further advancing her ability to help individuals live their best life.

Additionally, Mashal also takes a keen interest in Medical Aesthetics. She is a qualified practitioner in Level 3 Beauty Therapy and Level 4 Laser & IPL Treatments. This allows her to assist her clients in achieving their hair reduction goals and contouring their way to a perfectly toned and sculpted body.

Mental Health Advisor

Eman Niazi

Eman Niazi is a therapist based in Islamabad. She has a Masters in Clinical Social Work from New York University, and a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Punjab University. She is a licensed social worker in the state of New York and has 6 years of experience working in direct mental health services. Her academic specialization focused on contemporary child practice, psychodynamic treatment, attachment theory and mindfulness and emotional regulation in practice.

Eman has completed training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy and trauma focused therapy for childhood traumatic grief; and has also attended a number of professional workshops at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York, and the Metropolitan Institute for Training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy in New York.

During the course of her professional experience Eman has worked with children, adolescents and adults with a diverse range of diagnoses. She helps her clients implement effective psychotherapy methods to instill self-understanding and encourages them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations.

Life Coach

Mehreen Mir

Mehreen is a qualified transformational life coach and often volunteers as a Life & Career Coach working in particular with women and those from the neurodiverse community.

Mehreen has a passion about making a difference to the lives of girls and women, working towards ensuring diversity and inclusion, as well as achieving the best possible outcomes for clients by focusing on their wellbeing and life outcomes by supporting them shift their mindset. Additionally, she has completed further training certifications into areas such as Existential and Emotional intelligence coaching. She has over 100 hours of coaching since qualifying in 2019.

She is a qualified management accountant, holds associate level CIPD and is an experienced Director in the non profit sector. Thus, she is able to bring her career experiences to to clients space, especially for those women who are wanting to work on their career trajectory while balancing their home life.
